The Council does not object to the use of text which has been gathered and included on the website for the purposes of any personal or educational use or private research. However, use for commercial purposes is not authorised unless a licence is first obtained from Kingston Parish Council. For the avoidance of doubt, material includes but is not limited to text, photographs, icons and art work.
Where you submit any contribution to Kingston Parish Council (including but not limited to photographs, text) you agree, by submitting your contribution, to grant Kingston Parish Council a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right and licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative work from, distribute, perform, play and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to your contribution worldwide and/or to incorporate your contribution in any other works in any media known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in your contribution and in accordance with privacy restrictions set out in the Kingston Parish Council privacy policy. If you do not want to grant to Kingston Parish Council the rights set out above, please do not submit your contribution to Kingston Parish Council.
By submitting your contribution to Kingston Parish Council, you warrant that your contribution is your own original work and that you have the right to make it available to Kingston Parish Council for all purposes specified above; it is not defamatory and does not infringe any law and indemnify the Kingston Parish Council against all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be incurred by Kingston Parish Council as a result of your breach of the above warranty and waive any moral rights in your contribution for the purpose of its submission to, and publication on, the Kingston Parish Council website and the purposes specified above.
